The petromax 85N is a strange design. based on a lantern it has a heater on top. Three ceramic "pipes" give a nice radiated heat. It has a 500cp (?) nozzle, cleaning needle and a big tri angle shaped pre heater. It works on kerosene and is light green enameled.
The E&G stamp as well as the number 8 on the tank does point to the period just before ww2.
This heater belongs to a south american friend.
