In 1910 the german company Ehrich & Graetz began theire unbeaten succes story with the PETROMAX name. On the hunt for information about Petromax. I got a copy of a 1930 catalog of Petromax products from a German Museum. To give You an idea of the range of lamps I hereby give the index :
